Studio Policies & Terms
These policies apply to all services provided at Defined Beauty.
By booking an appointment, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms.
Deposits
A deposit is required to secure all appointments.
A deposit is required to secure your appointment. ALL DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE, however they may be transferred to a new appointment for the same client if the required notice is provided.
Deposits are deducted from the total cost of your treatment on the day of your appointment.
Deposits cover administrative time, preparation, and reserved appointment space.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
A maximum of two (2) reschedules are permitted per booking and must be arranged by contacting the studio directly.
All reschedules and cancellations must be made with a minimum of 48 hours’ notice prior to your appointment.
Changes made within 24-48 hours of your appointment will incur a 50% FEE of the appointment total.
Changes made within 24 hours of your appointment will incur the FULL APPOINTMENT FEE.
Rescheduling more than twice will result in your deposit being forfeited
If your deposit is forfeited, you are welcome to rebook, however a new deposit will be required to secure your next appointment.
All cancellation and rescheduling requests must be received within business hours and confirmed by the studio to be valid.
No-Shows
Failure to attend your appointment without notice is considered a NO-SHOW.
NO-SHOWS WILL BE CHARGED THE FULL APPOINTMENT FEE.
Future bookings may require full prepayment or may be declined at the studio’s discretion.
Late Arrivals
Please arrive on time to ensure your treatment can be carried out safely and in full.
Clients arriving more than 10 minutes late may have their appointment shortened, cancelled, or treated as a NO-SHOW, unless prior approval has been given.
If the appointment cannot proceed due to lateness, the FULL APPOINTMENT FEE will be charged.
Rebooking will be subject to availability and will require a new deposit.
Refund Policy
Due to the nature of beauty and cosmetic services:
No refunds are provided once a service has been performed.
Any concerns must be raised within 48 hours of your appointment for assessment.
Any follow-up or corrective treatment, where appropriate, is offered at the discretion of Defined Beauty.
Aftercare Responsibility
Clients are required to follow all pre-care and aftercare instructions provided.
Defined Beauty is not responsible for unsatisfactory results, reduced longevity, or complications arising from:
failure to follow aftercare
lifestyle factors
skin or enamel response
external treatments or products used without approval
Eligibility & Health Disclosure
Clients must meet the eligibility requirements for their chosen service and disclose all relevant medical, skin, dental, or health information prior to treatment.
Defined Beauty reserves the right to decline or reschedule treatment if it is deemed unsafe or unsuitable to proceed.
Hygiene & Safety
Defined Beauty follows strict hygiene and safety protocols. All tools and equipment are sanitised, sterilised, or single-use as required to ensure a safe and professional environment
Agreement
By booking an appointment at Defined Beauty, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Studio Policies & Terms.
