  • Brush and floss your teeth, avoid whitening products for 24 hours, have a light meal beforehand, and stay hydrated.

  • Yes. You can brush your teeth as normal with a tooth gem, including using an electric toothbrush. We recommend brushing gently around the gem and avoiding excessive pressure to help maintain longevity.

  • Yes. You can eat and drink as normal with a tooth gem. To help maintain longevity, we recommend avoiding biting directly into very hard or sticky foods.

  • It’s unlikely, but if it does happen:

Tooth gems are applied using dental-safe, non-toxic materials. If a gem were to come loose and be accidentally swallowed, it typically passes without issue. If you have any concerns, we recommend contacting a medical professional.

  • Tooth gems can only be applied to natural teeth. Unfortunately, they cannot be bonded to veneers, crowns, or fillings, as these surfaces do not allow for a secure, long-lasting bond.

For best results and longevity, tooth gems are recommended on natural enamel only.

  • Tooth gems are a cosmetic enhancement and longevity varies based on placement, bite, and aftercare.

If a gem comes off within 48 hours of your appointment, a complimentary replacement will be offered.

After 48 hours, replacements are available at a reduced fee. This accounts for natural wear, eating habits, and individual bite patterns, which are outside our control.

Replacement appointments must be booked within 14 days of the original service.
